Russian Battle Ship Murmansk

Murmansk (W206) Russian Sverdlov class cruiser built 1955 one of the last all gun cruisers decommitioned 1987 scrapped 1995 Lost 1994 while in tow to India for scrap along the berents coast between North cape and Tromso is now aground on Soeroey Finmark.

Murmansk is an amazing site and remains intact complete with all guns, upright in 10 mtrs, 5 decks above water 5 below, Jane R visits this site while on route Tromso to Kirkeness via North cape.  Other wrecks around Tromso include Heinkle 111 bomber. Ds Flint, Sud America & Tirpitz remains.
